The Centre for Studies in Aging and Health at Providence Care hosted a Reaserach and Innovation in Aging Forum "Problem Solving Therapy for Depression in Older Adults", Dr. Dallas Seitz on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at 4:00 - 5:00 pm Learning & Leadership Centre, Providence Care, Mental Health Services site, 752 King St. W. Kingston. Dr. Dallas Seitz is a Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor and Clinician Scientist in the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, at Queen’s University.

Objectives of the Research & Innovation in Aging Forum
-Share research investigating health issues related to aging
-Create a forum that promotes networking, collaboration and innovation in research
-Establish a community of practice for researchers who have an interest in health issues related to aging affiliated with Providence Care & Queen's University

Problem Solving Therapy for Depression in Older Adults
Share in an opportunity to:
-Review evidence for problem solving therapy for depression in older adults from a systematic review
-Discuss the implementation and evaluation of problem solving therapy in the seniors mental health
 program at Providence Care
-Explore opportunities for future research studies in problem solving therapy
