A Pragmatists Approach to Frailty and Aging: Why, Who and What to do

On March 4th, 2019 Dr. John Puxty provided this in-person/webinar presentation targeted towards the practicing clinician with a focus on assisting them in appreciating the importance of recognizing frailty in older adults, identifying practical methods for flagging and assessing frailty and its commonly associated contributing factors and improving awareness about evidence-based strategies to reduce and manage frailty. PRESENTER BIO

Dr. John Puxty is a Geriatrician, an Associated Professor and Chair of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Queen’s University, Director of the Centre for Studies in Aging and Health, and Chair of the Seniors Health Knowledge Network. He has a primary interest in promoting healthy aging and effective care for older adults with a research interest in aging, chronic disease, knowledge mobilization and information technology.
