The Ontario Age-Friendly Communities Outreach Program is pleased to announce the launch of a new online learning course on age-friendly communities: “Modules to Support Planning, Implementation, Evaluation and Sustainability”.
June 1st is recognized as Intergenerational Day, which celebrates and promotes respectful, purposeful connections between students and older adults in their communities.
Dr. John Puxty is a Geriatrician, Associate Professor and Chair of the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Queen’s University, Director of the Centre for Studies in Aging and Health and Southeastern Ontario Regional Geriatric Program and Chair of the Seniors Health Knowledge Network and Ontario Interdisciplinary Council for Aging and Health.
