Sarnia, City of
The City of Port Colborne Senior Citizens Advisory Committee is in process of developing an action plan of items determined priority from the needs assessment report completed in 2016.
Penetanguishene, Town of
The Town of Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands completed their Age Friendly Community Plan in 2016. They are currently in the Implementation stage of the planning process.
Pakenham, Village of
The AFC work is led by municipal staff. The Age Friendly Community process was great for Petawawa and there were some clear targets identified.
Whitewater Region, Township of
Age-Friendly Tweed is led by a municipal committee of council. We are in the beginning stages of planning; we recently released our survey to our residents.
Vaughan, City of
The Committee was mandated by Council to undertake consultation with older adults and present a community assessment report.
