AFC Webinar – Age-friendly Peterborough Health and Housing Navigation Study

September 15, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Free

Description

In 2019, Age-friendly Peterborough (AFP) began a project to consolidate many community service directories and identify all health services and housing options available to older residents who live in the city and county of Peterborough and Curve Lake and Hiawatha First Nations. The information was provided to Community Connection 211 who developed a Peterborough Seniors Service Directory website. The tool can be used by older adults, their family and caregivers, senior sector service providers, and health professionals. The project was a launching point for other Task Forces such as Housing, Social Isolation, Communication, and Volunteerism.
