Workshop – Interventions for Memory and Aging: Train-the-Trainer Workshop

Memory changes are a normal part of aging but can be a source of embarrassment, frustration, and worry to those who experience them.

This workshop is designed for clinicians and students who work with older adults in occupational therapy, social work, psychology, nursing, speech-language pathology, and related areas.

Workshop participants will learn how to deliver memory intervention protocols to older adults with normal age-related memory changes, with a focus on maximizing cognitive health through lifestyle enhancement and memory strategy training. Content and examples will be drawn from the Baycrest Memory & Aging Program®.
