Parkinson’s disease is a lifelong condition that affects the way the body moves. Parkinson’s disease slowly gets worse over time and health problems caused by the disease can be serious. Age, sex and genetics may all play a role in the development of the disease. While each person is different, signs of Parkinson’s disease can include a tremor, slowness of movement, limb stiffness and difficulties balancing and walking.
