Profile
Jayne’s background is in recreation, community development, healthy aging, and adult education. She has worked with seniors since 1989 and is passionate about helping older adults maintain safe and healthy lives. She has worked as Older Adult Coordinator with the City of Mississauga, Manager of Recreation with the City of Kingston, and Associate Director of Recreation and Sport Clubs with Queen’s University.
Before coming to Peterborough, Jayne was the Manager of Peel Elder Abuse Prevention Network, chair of the Brampton Age-Friendly Committee and she led the Peel Council on Aging project. Jayne has been the Age-friendly Coordinator with the City of Peterborough for two years and is thrilled to work with the eager and motivated Working Groups and Task Forces who are leading and supporting Age-friendly Peterborough projects.
Jayne will present during Session 10: Social Environment Showcase and Looking Ahead Panel of the conference on March 24 starting at 10:30 a.m.
