Profile

Mathieu Grenier is Deputy Chief of Quality Improvement and Professional Standards for the County of Renfrew Paramedic Service since January 2017. He has been working as a paramedic for the past 19 years in the County. Before his appointment, he was the commander in charge of professional development since 2011.

Mathieu holds a master’s degree in Leadership from the Royal Roads University in Victoria. His thesis was on professional development and was published in The Australasian Journal of Paramedicine. Mathieu chairs Eastern Ontario’s Community of Practice Committee focused on community paramedicine. He is also working provincially to create a standard of practice across all services.
