In the Sagelink Blog you will find commentary that crosses three fields of focus: seniors health, knowledge translation and exchange, and South East Ontario. You'll hear diverse perspectives from our CSAH team members, as well as from guest bloggers in our community.
Summer temperatures seem to be more extreme than I recall as a teenager and young adult. I suspect that is impacted by “my” aging process and the fact that I no longer hop on my bicycle and ride to the lake for a cool dip or run through the sprinkler.
Health Canada reminds us that seniors, particularly those who have medical conditions are vulnerable to extreme heat and soaring temperatures.
CSAH is dedicated to creating, applying and sharing knowledge, and Sagelink is one of many ways we do just that.
You are probably wondering who I am and what makes this blog different. Well, my name is Sarah Webster. I am the Project Resource Consultant for CSAH and will be one of the many voices behind this blog. If you are interested in seniors health, knowledge translation and exchange, and the current context of health in south east Ontario, than I am confident you will find this blog of interest. Each blog will cross one or more of those topics and connect you to emerging ideas and new information.
