Current Activity
A great deal of my research interests lies in addressing inequity in aging. This requires the understanding that the contexts in which we live affect our opportunities regardless of compositional differences in individual resources. Thus, policies targeting vulnerable seniors should consider the role of inequality across the life span. Meeting the challenge of reducing inequitable barriers of the aging requires examination of underlying contributors while focusing on upstream interventions, prevention and health promotion.
